Number of Beds -60 · Number of Staff – 50 · Type of staff: o Day Shift –1 Charge nurse per floor, RNs, LVNS, PCTs, and unit secretary when grid allows o Night Shift – 1 Charge nurse per floor, RNs, LVNS, PCTs · Patient Ratios – 5:1 (Med Surg Specialty 4th Floor). 6:1 (Med Surg 5th Floor) · Type of equipment – remote telemetry, capnography, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, dynamaps · EMR –Alterra (Allscripts)
