Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager-Freight Forwarder

Location: Dallas, TX 75261 (Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1-day WFH)

Salary: $80-130K (DOE) + Bonus/Incentives

FLSA: Exempt

Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing, business administration, economics
  • 3+ years of business experience which should include significant experience in sales and marketing preferably in a freight forwarding / logistics business
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Willingness to travel extensively in regional territory

Skill Set Required:

  • Strong communication skills - ability to conduct Sr. level corporate meetings and executive presentations
  • Strong self-motivation and strategic focus - ability to quickly identify key decision makers and opportunities
  • Ability to close business - clearly identify short and long-term global opportunities
  • High level of negotiation skills - ability to negotiate global contracts and processes
  • Ability to utilize CRM tools for clear and timely sales updates
  • Strong MS Office skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, an Outlook

Purpose:

  • Grow the company's business in assigned vertical Semiconductor industry and other industries (Technology and Mobility)
  • Achieve revenue / operating profit targets by securing business and selling additional services to assigned customers

Sales Focus Area:

  • Mainly Texas area and whole Americas area as vertical (depends on the skill and the knowledge)

Sales Focus Companies:

  • Mainly new targeting customers from Semiconductor industries and others as well

Core Expectations:

  • Responsible for securing and managing customer business from top level
  • Knowledge of our core services - Air, Ocean, Warehousing/Distribution, Domestic Delivery
  • Expand business leveraging company assets in all global regions - Japan, Asia, Europe, and Americas
  • Responsible for developing strong C-Level relationships with target customers
  • As management role provides expertise on doing business in USA
  • Set strategies based on the company direction from Japan HQ and US Regional HQ
  • Set clear account action plan and follow to completion
  • Provide coaching and training to sales staff by sharing expertise and the best practices
  • Achieve assigned numerical targets determined at start=up of position - revenue, volume, and segment targets

Primary Duties:

  • Achieve new & existing customer business in semiconductor and others
  • Top sales activities that make full use of customer relationship to achieve the above
  • Acquire prospective customers who can open doors by introducing end user from customers
  • Hearing about Intel's future plan and visions, and deepening customer cultivating ability by formulating corresponding strategies
  • Ability to consider company policy in a short, medium and long term
  • Team development ability to achieve numerical values
  • Cooperation with each global region (including Japan) and account management support teams
  • Performance analysis, improvement target setting, improvement activities, review activities for all related customers
  • Problem-solving ability and customer negotiation ability (specific customer response and negotiation)
  • Project responsiveness

Sales Activity Expectations:

  • Establish annual revenue target / operation profit target
  • Report and maintain new business on a monthly basis
  • Report activities and progress to management on a weekly basis
  • Organize monthly meetings with overseas regional Account Managers to ensure clear alignment on global strategies for account and opportunities related to the account
