RN Interventional Radiology (IR)

Full Time - 10hr Days shift - On Call - Weekend rotations

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital. We serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County. At HCA Healthcare, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. We are a Level II Trauma Center. We provide the only full-service cardiovascular program. Our program offers open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology. Electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and comprehensive diagnostic services are also offered by this program. Other services that we provide include orthopedic and spine care, as well as robotic surgery. We offer acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN PRN to join our team. Your primary function is to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will :

• Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc
• Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol
• Administer Glucagon to CT enterography
• Administer Lasix
• Place Foley Catheters
• Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol
• Start IV in difficult sticks
• Monitor outpatients who have pacemaker or defibrillator

Education :

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.

License/ Certifications :

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required
• BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of hire

Experience :

• Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology Lab or critical care (ICU) experience required.

General Comments

Details:

• On call is required (must be within 30 minutes from the facility)
• Typically do 6-8 cases/day
• Hours: 4 10's; start times vary; On Call - 9 or 10 times in the month weekdays and 1-2 weekend rotation
• Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology Lab or critical care (ICU) experience required.

Salary: (2yr)-$ 32.87 (5 yr)- $ 36.10 (10yr) $ 40.42 (17yr MAX) $46.26
