Business Development Director - Hitech / Manufacturing Vertical Our client is a Global System Integrator and we are currently assisting them in hiring a results-driven leader with a passion for driving sales and growth in the technology sector. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to spearhead initiatives in the Technology Business Segments, which include Compute, Print & Electronics (CPE), Solar, Components and Contract Manufacturers, Semiconductors, and Network Equipment. Key Responsibilities: Customer Acquisition: Lead new customer acquisition efforts by engaging with prospective clients and effectively presenting our value proposition. Sales & Business Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and maximize market presence. Account Management: Strengthen relationships with existing software customers to ensure high satisfaction levels and foster long-term partnerships. Solution Selling: Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to craft tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies in partnership with marketing, presales, and delivery teams. Industry Expertise: Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and decision-making. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, within target organizations. Deal Negotiation & Closure: Lead end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to successful contract negotiations and closure. Qualifications: 10-15+ years of proven experience in sales or business development within IT, BPS, or consulting services. Strong background in selling to large companies in the Technology Business Segments, including CPE, Solar, Components and Contract Manufacturers, Semiconductors, and Network Equipment. In-depth understanding of the technology landscape, industry challenges, and opportunities. Proven consultative sales approach with experience in solution selling. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment. Confidence and capability to lead and take ownership of the entire sales cycle.
