Actors Fund Home , an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a CMS Five Star Rating , seeks a Full- Time Housekeeper . The Actors Fund Home offers a safe working environment with weekly Covid testing and PPE for all staff!

JOB DUTIES

• Clean resident rooms including bathrooms and floors on a daily basis
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including common areas, nursing station areas, lounges, stairways and offices
• Empty trash and restock housekeeping supplies as needed
• Assist with laundry department
• Perform other housekeeping functions as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate required
• Ability to understand and communicate in English required
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred
• Must be able to work with all cleaning equipment as well as laundry and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry supplies up to 25 pounds

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Flexibility with schedule and assignments
• Must be adaptable to change and able to deal with crisis and emergencies

ABOUT THIS POSITION

This is a hourly position (40hrs) based at The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. The shift requirements for this position are 2:30pm-11:00pm and availability for every other weekend. You will be expected to cover assigned shifts, including holidays, and should be available to cover vacations/call outs on occasion. This position is covered by the SEIU 1199 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
