Kelly ®Professional & Industrial has open opportunities for remote Language Interpreters.

\n\n

We are currently looking for skilled Karen /Laotian  Bilingual Interpreters that are available to work from home and interpret high volume inbound calls.

\n\n

Details of the position:

\n\n

\n\t
• Work from Home (must reside in the U.S.)\n\t
• $20 an hour (once training is complete) – Long term contract\n\t
• Minimum of 25 hours a week\n\t
• 3 Weeks of Paid Training\n\t
• Helping others in your community connect in meaningful work\n\t

• Must have flexible schedule\n

\n\n

A typical day in this position might look like:

\n\n

\n\t
• Handling telephone & Video calls on demand in a quiet home office\n\t
• Help translate Karen, Laotian /English conversations for a wide range of industries including Healthcare, Government, Insurance Financial, Travel & Hospitality and government entities\n\t
• Translating Laotian , Karen/English conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical\n

\n\n

Ideal Candidates will be:

\n\n

\n\t
• Fluent in both Laotian/Karen and English\n\t
• Able to work a minimum of 25 hours a week\n\t
• Manual dexterity to type or write notes\n\t
• Will start using a personal cell phone and will also include video interpreting\n\t
• Previous experience not required\n\t
• Education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset\n

Remote technical requirements:

\n\n

\n\t
• The use of your personal iPhone or Android phone\n\t
• High speed Internet connection for work related electronic communication.\n\t
• Dry Erase Marker Board\n\t
• A dedicated workspace\n
