Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
A bit about us:
We specialize in underground utility projects of many sizes and of any complexity. Our primary expertise is installation of wet utilities which include sewer, storm drain, domestic water, recycled water and major irrigation pipelines, pump station construction and other related mechanical work. Additionally, we perform dry utility work on select projects including gas mains, electrical and communication ducts

Job Details
General Job Responsibilities:
Assess available projects in determining whether or not the project will generate a large enough margin to warrant spending time submitting a proposal.
Solicit subcontractors and prepare subcontractor scope packages for bidding
Negotiate pricing and terms with general contractors to ensure adherence with company pricing guidelines
Complete all cost proposals ensuring a detailed and accurate estimate.
Build estimate including sub/self-perform analysis items
Collaborate with the operations and finance group to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals
General Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred but not required.
Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience with any of the following types of projects: underground utilities, wastewater/stormwater collection systems,
