Phaxis Travel Healthcare has an urgent need for a Travel Dialysis RN in Webster, New York.Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract position in Webster, New York. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease and other renal conditions.Key Responsibilities: Perform dialysis treatments for patients according to prescribed protocols and standards. Monitor patients during dialysis treatments, assessing vital signs and responding to any complications. Administer medications and adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient response. Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, home care, and dietary restrictions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment progress. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of dialysis equipment. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.Requirements: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dialysis RN. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient care standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
