About the role KITH is seeking a System Administrator to manage all Windows and iOS operating systems and ensures the integrity of SQL databases. They set up and maintain AWS infrastructure and prevent data loss in case of emergencies. They also ensure compliance with IT protocols and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in AWS and disaster recovery, and who has led and managed an IT support team. Scripting languages and relevant certifications are a plus.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-oriented, and has excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Skills and Responsibilities : - Manage and maintain a mixed Windows and iOS environment for 200+ users at HQ, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Administer Windows Server and Active Directory, including user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Manage and optimize MS SQL databases.
- Configure and manage AWS EC2 instances, Security Groups, and VPCs.
- Implement and monitor AWS solutions for critical systems, including cloud storage, disaster recovery, and backups.
- Continuously improve and maintain disaster recovery plans for all IT systems, including regular testing and execution exercises.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies and regulations through comprehensive documentation.
- Manage Meraki Network enviroment
- Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution
- Provide third and fourth-tier support to users and IT staff.
- Demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to efficiently diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. This includes:
- Log analysis and interpretation
- Identifying root causes of problems
- Implementing effective solutions, including workarounds and permanent fixes
- Documenting solutions and lessons learned
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and developments within the IT field.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and minimize errors in all aspects of your work.
- Operate as a self-starter, independently taking the initiative to identify issues, research solutions, and implement necessary changes.
- Be results-oriented, focusing on achieving defined goals and objectives efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications: - Minimum 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator.
- Proven experience managing Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of AWS EC2, storage, Security Groups, VPCs, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, execution, and testing.
- Experience with MDM solutions preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL administration.
- Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL framework.
- Crowdstrike knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with IDP management.
- Expreince with Automation / Integration.
- Have a strong understanding and ability to manage Meraki networking equipment.
- Inventory control: assets, users, software, network, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points: - Experience managing a team of IT support staff.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE).
