Full Time and Part time Availability Must be able to work within the hours of 7am-4pm. Closed on Sundays! Job Purpose This job ensures service standards are met and surpassed by creating the Starbucks Experience for customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities 1.Delivers Legendary Service to all customers by acting with a "customer comes first" attitude and connecting with the customer.Responds to customer needs and says thank you to every customer.
2.Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.Discover customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet your sales goals.
3.Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales (as applicable).
4.Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
5.Demonstrates "Just Say Yes" behavior when taking care of customer needs.
6.Provides quality beverages, such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Week, Whole Bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
7.Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
8.Follows store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station.
9.Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the Duty Rosters and cleaning standards and works as a store team player.
10.Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Star Skills with all customers and interactions with fellow associates.
11.Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
12.Performs equipment maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance checklist.
13.Follows cash handling and register policies.
14.Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
15.Other duties assigned by supervisor.
16.Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement.
17.Arrive punctually and consistently for work for normally scheduled hours, occasional Saturdays.
18.Perform various related duties as required.
19.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
20.Learns and demonstrates creating the Starbucks Experience.
21.Completes Initial Store Training and passes barista certification with a score of 90% or better

Required Education and Experience A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience - Previous Starbucks experience.
- One to three years retail experience.
- Knowledge of Starbucks policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
