MKS2 Job Opportunity: Senior Network Engineer / Cybersecurity Expert
MKS2 is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer / Cybersecurity Expert to support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of expertise in network engineering, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Experience with military branches, especially the U.S. Air Force, is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include conducting technical assessments, managing network infrastructure, and applying advanced cybersecurity frameworks in DoD environments. You'll work with systems like SIPRNet, JWICS, and PACAF-specific IT infrastructure, as well as emerging IT trends including zero-trust security, AI/ML, cloud computing, and edge computing. Strong communication skills are critical as you will interface with senior military officials to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
