At AURA Devices we're building products that help amateur and professional athletes to push their limits and go beyond. We're a team of professionals that make new instruments to track, analyze, and improve your fitness performance. Our state-of-the-art core technology of bioimpedance analysis provides information about hydration levels and body composition changes.

We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to fill the role of Social Media Manager at our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curating engaging content across various social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok and Discord. They will have a keen understanding of our brand voice and be able to communicate effectively with our audience in the comments section. Additionally, the Social Media Manager will be tasked with reputation management, ensuring that our online presence reflects positively on our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Curate creation of the engaging content for posting on all social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and other multimedia content.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Track and analyze key social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns, monitor sales generated through social media marketing (SMM), and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop sales funnels to create and optimize social media shops.
  • Recognize and appreciate active community members, fostering loyalty and encouraging continued participation.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate any potential reputation issues or crises on social media.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to amplify our brand reach on social media.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience of 3+ years as social media manager or community manager, preferably in the technology, startup, or consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • In-depth knowledge of the consumer electronics industry, particularly in the field of wearables and health tracking devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with users in a positive and professional manner.
  • Proficiency in managing and engaging communities across various platforms, including Discord, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with reputation management and crisis communication is a plus.
  • Passion for community building, consumer electronics, health and fitness, and driving positive change through engaged communities.
