Our client is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their QA team. In this role, you will be embedded within a product line, ensuring the software meets high-quality standards while automating QA processes and testing. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive in sharing ideas, suggesting improvements, and enhancing workflowswhile also being vigilant in identifying and addressing quality issues.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, scripts, and procedures tailored to financial and trading systems using:

Programming & Automation Tools : Java, Selenium, Rest Assured

Version Control & CI/CD : GIT, Jenkins

• Design, create, execute, and automate test scenarios for both REST API and FIX API.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and document technical improvements for debugging and code optimization.
• Break down complex projects into actionable tasks, ensuring efficient implementation.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively within teams and across departments, aligning with business objectives.
• Collaborate with key business and technology leads on testing strategies, test case reviews, bug tracking, and production issue resolution to drive continuous improvements.
• Provide guidance and secure buy-in from Infrastructure Engineering, QA, and Corporate IT teams for large-scale technical designs and solutions.
• Integrate automated test cases into the Jenkins pipeline for seamless deployment.
• Manage full user stories, breaking them down into tasks to facilitate solution development.
• Evaluate existing components and emerging technologies to enhance testing strategies.
• Assist teammates in completing tasks while contributing to overall project success.
• Develop test cases from a partner/client perspective and coordinate with stakeholders to address operational and back-office scenarios.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor degree plus 5-10 years of experience testing in financial services industry focus on trading, money movement, settlement, or clearing
• Proficiency in programming with Java and Python
• Hands on experience with test automation tools including Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured and JMeter
• Experienced with API or FIX Protocol Testing
• Knowledge testing trading flows (equities, options, etc.), money movement, or a post-trade system
• Experience with JIRA, and Test Case Management Tools (TestRail/Allure)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• 1 Mid-Level QA Engineer (3 years of experience)
