Holland & Sherry is an industry leader and source of high-quality textiles for the interior design trade, committed to providing innovative and custom solutions for our clients. Our team is passionate about design and dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences.

We are currently seeking a Seamstress for our Norwalk, CT rug facility (Elizabeth Eakins). 

Minimum Requirements for this Position Include:

• Works with other associates in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation to accomplish goals
• Assists in other areas and/or departments as requested
• Must have a high level of attention to detail and quality
• Must be dependable, punctual, and organized with your time
• Must maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and processes
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
• Knowledge of sewing a requirement
• Ability to operate/use equipment and manual tools
• Ability to use your hands in a resourceful and coordinated way to grasp and manipulate objects

Schedule

• Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30 minute break.
