Job Title: Ranch IT Specialist

Location: Ranger, Texas, 76470

Duration: 90/day Contract to Hire

Top Skills:

• Expert hardware troubleshooting and installation (AV, conference rooms, cameras, MacOS, Windows Server/PC, Android devices, etc.)
• Basic networking (Layered Switching, etc.)
• Must be smart, know how to read a room, be comfortable working under pressure when needed, reliable, etc.

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide daily maintenance, service,
• and support for the IT infrastructure located at three of our large company ranches. This position will
• report directly to the General Manager of all ranches, and will also defer to the parent company's IT
• leadership in regards to all higher functioned IT needs (WAN, WISP, LAN, Backups, and IT Security).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hardware support and maintenance for MacOS, IOS, Windows Server/PC, and Android
• devices
• Support users over remote connections
• Manage cloud backups and site-wide WISP (Ubiquiti) and structure-based MESH Wi-Fi
• Manage large Apple TV, Sonos, and DirecTV installations
• Support phone systems and printers
• Possess proficiency in servicing MS Office 2019+

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with basic networking (layered switching, etc.)
• Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS and Photoshop
• Experience with fiber connectivity and maintenance
• Experience with local printer maintenance

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of general IT support experience
• A+ and/or other relevant certifications preferred
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight
• Ability to work independently in harsh conditions and traverse rough terrain
• Ability to receive instruction well and be flexible with changing duty assignments
• Ability to pass a drug test in compliance with company policies
• Possession of any necessary certificates, licenses, or registrations in compliance with local, state, federal, or other regulatory agencies
