We are looking for a Psychiatric Physician Assistant to become part of the Denver Wellness team! Job Duties:

  • Assess, diagnose, manage and treat patients
  • Write prescriptions and provide patient education on: prescriptions, ketamine/spravato, TMS, and psychotherapy
  • Coordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapists
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the care team
  • Participate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for licensure requirements
  • Performs counseling within the scope of clinical practice
  • Obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulations
  • Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice in Colorado or eligible for state licensure
  • DEA license
  • Graduation from an accredited educational program and successful completion of certification
  • All certifications and licenses required must be kept current as a condition of continued employment
  • Demonstrates positive behavior, attitude, and commitment as documented by supervising physician, patient satisfaction surveys, and feedback from other personnel
  • Demonstrates positive teamwork, cooperative efforts, prompt and attentive service to patients and colleagues
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
