Overview:
Helio Health is seeking experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for our Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC) in Syracuse, NY. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will provide urgent response and/or treatment services to patients experiencing an acute mental health and/or substance use crisis. The ICSC operates on a 24/7 basis providing opportunities for day, evening, and overnight schedules.

Pay Rate: $72.00/hour 

Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care of medical examination and monitoring, psychiatric consultation, implementation of medical orders, and treatment of psychiatric conditions.

Serve on special review and quality assurance committees as assigned.

Provide and document medical and psychiatric consultation, assessment, examination, treatment planning and review consistent with agency policy and requirements.

Other related assignments and duties consistent with training and experience.

Qualifications:
Must be a Nurse Practitioner licensed and currently registered by the New York State Education Department.

At least one year of experience in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.

Have prescriptive authority and DEA number.
