JOB SUMMARY

The Post-Harvest and Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising post-harvest activities to ensure the highest quality of crop production and processing. This individual will also support the cultivation team with all aspects of the cultivation process. This role requires a detailed-oriented individual with strong organizational and leadership skills, who can work efficiently in both departments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• Oversee the post-harvest processing of crops, including sorting, grading, packaging, and storage.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure the highest quality of products.
• Ensure all post-harvest equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Ensure all post-harvest activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and execute cultivation plans, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting schedules.
• Lead and supervise the cultivation team, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Regularly monitor crop health and growth, ensuring optimal conditions for plant development
• Manage inventory of cultivation supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in crop cultivation and post-harvest processing.
• Strong knowledge of cultivation techniques and post-harvest processing.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in using agricultural management software and tools.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to cultivation and post-harvest activities.
