Schedule: Full-Time

Shift : Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, rotating weekends, some call

Location : Team Green: This position will be conducting patient home visits in the Kissimmee, Celebration, St. Cloud, and Osceola County area which includes but is not limited to the following zip codes: 32836, 32821, 32830, 32837, 32824, 32827, 32832, 34773, 34771, 34772, 34769, 34744, 34743, 34741, 34746, 34758, 33896, 34759, 34747

The role you’ll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

Carries out various physical therapy procedures under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. State licensure required.

\n \n\n \n

• Provides treatment to relieve pain and to develop or restore function as ordered on Plan of Care.
\n \n
• Provides accurate documentation.
\n \n
• Teaches use of assistive devices and equipment to patients and caregivers.

• Observes, records and reports to physician any untoward reactions to treatment.
\n \n
• Instructs and supervises family members to provide continuous therapy and home treatment plan.
\n \n\n \n\n

Qualifications

\n \n

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

\n \n\n \n

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Graduated from a physical therapist assistant curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association; or if educated outside the United States or trained in the United States military, graduated from an education program determined to be substantially equivalent to physical therapist assistant entry level education in the United States by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or identified at 8 CFR 212.15(e).
\n \n
• Passed a national examination for physical therapist assistants.
\n \n\n \n\n

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
\n \n
• Driver's License
\n \n
• Currently licensed and registered in the state of Florida.
\n \n\n \n\n
