Part-time faculty members are needed to teach college level Philosophy courses. The positions are located at the Alexandria campus. Faculty will teach courses in-person or remotely as necessary.
Teach college level Philosophy courses in-person or remotely for the Alexandria Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. Create and distribute course syllabus based upon the current college-wide course content summary, keep accurate attendance records, use required text books and resources when necessary, use LMS for course delivery and grade roster, post final grades within 48 hours of final exams, participate in SLO assessment when necessary, adhere to NOVA college policies
Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications Masters degree in Philosophy or a masters degree with at least eighteen graduate semester credit hours in Philosophy is required.
Preferred Qualifications College level teaching experience.
