Department of Revenue is recruiting for an Operations & Policy Analyst 2 position. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Business Division in the Withholding other Taxes and Fees Section. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in-state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely. In order to be considered for Department of Revenue recruitments, you must reside within the state of Oregon. Current Revenue employees who live outside of Oregon may apply and will be considered. Coordinates implementation of new legislation by developing and giving training programs to division, department, and private groups about legislation and its impact on division's programs, performing testing within our core system, and developing procedures for program administration. Analyzes data gathered by reading reports and compiling statistics, graphs and tables pertinent to projects or to support division programs. Organizes, summarizes and presents information to individuals and/or groups in writing and/or orally. Coordinates administrative rules development for section programs. Communicating effectively with internal and external interested parties and management. This is a SEIU-represented position. This recruitment may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur. The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Applicants who require VISA sponsorship will not be considered at this time. Eligible veterans who meet the qualifications will be given veterans' preference.
