Wage : $22-$27 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Saturday, Overtime and weekends as needed

Essential Functions

The Mobile Crane Operator is responsible for operating mobile cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials in their intended locations.

• Loading and unloading materials from vehicles used to transport it
• Operates a variety of heavy equipment to accomplish difficult or highly complex tasks
• Pre and Post routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs.
• Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation.
• Performs or requests necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.
• Assists with repairs as needed.
• Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Identify and direct various materials to proper locations for processing

Competencies

• Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of heavy equipment.
• Thorough understanding of maintenance and basic repairs associated with heavy equipment.
• Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate
• Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating software systems like Microsoft Office, Apple, etc.

Work environment

• Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures.
• Outside

Physical demands

• Must be able to physically operate heavy equipment.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and repair heavy equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred education and experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience operating a mobile crane required.
