Job Summary We are currently searching for a driven
Marketing Intern to assist our marketing department. This internship is a 3 to 6-month, paid academic internship. This role requires an energetic, dedicated and detail-oriented person who can manage multiple tasks. This individual is a team-player with a willingness to learn and adapt to shifting priorities. The Marketing Intern, under the supervision of the Marketing Management Team, will assist with tasks including, but not limited to: writing and editing, photo and video production and editing, web and social media analytics, social media content, graphic design, media relations, digital asset management, event coordination and other marketing and administrative support tasks as assigned.The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or an undergraduate/graduate student in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, digital filmmaking, digital media, graphic design or a development-related field. This is an in-person paid internship requiring a 15 hour per week commitment.
Responsibilities: - Ensure relevant and up-to-date content on all our social media channels
- Proactively look for opportunities to promote dealership awareness and community involvement on social media sites.
- Stay up to date on social media trends and techniques and suggest strategies.
- Write, film, and photograph high quality content for social media channels.
- Work closely with marketing team members to develop marketing campaigns.
- Track and optimize the performance of social media content and marketing campaigns
- Monitor & respond to customer questions, comments and feedback and ensure reputation management policies are followed
- Build online relationships with customers, potential customers and members of the media.
- Attend events and produce social media content, as needed
Qualifications: - Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a related bachelor's degree or graduate program: journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, digital filmmaking, digital media, graphic design or a development-related field
- Experience working with social media & management tools including creating, curating & scheduling content
- Enthusiastic self-starter with a drive for tracking progress
- The ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- Detail oriented, fact driven and highly organized
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team on projects
- Basic graphic design skills are preferred but not required (Canva, Photoshop and/or Illustrator)
- Valid driver's license.

Benefits: - $15-$17/hour depending on experience
- Family friendly Monday-Friday schedule (no Sundays), flexible on start and end times. Occasional attendance at a Saturday event may be requested.

About Tom Bush Family of Dealerships: - Your main office will be located at our Volkswagen store: 9850 Atlantic Boulevard, one mile west of I-295. However, this position requires travel between all of our locations in Jacksonville (Tom Bush BMW Orange Park, Mazda City of Orange Park, Tom Bush Collision Center, Tom Bush MINI, Tom Bush BMW Jacksonville, Tom Bush BMW Certified Pre-Owned, Tom Bush Mazda, Tom Bush Used Cars on Atlantic).
- Your direct supervisor will be Vice President, Megan Bush Del Pizzo. Your job trainer will be Vice President, Brian Bush. And your other Marketing Team Member is e-Commerce Director, Stephen Aten.
