What will a Maintenance/HVAC Technician II do? - Troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility wide buildings,building equipment and related systems including Plumbing, Sprinkler, HVAC andElectrical, as dictated by Work Orders and Preventive Maintenanceschedules. Repairs outside of thetechnician's trade experience/qualification level will be assigned to others oroutsourced.
- Complete all assigned work orders andpreventative maintenance work on equipment and plant facilities in the notedtime frame. Maintain progress records of work, documenting pertinentinformation.
- Perform asset relocation within the facility including officeand resident furniture, and related equipment and appliances.
- Perform Facility function setup related duties (seating/tablearrangement and returning same to pre-function condition and/or return items tostorage).
- Perform all duties related to freight, material and equipmentdelivery receipt including distribution to respective departments.
- Respond to all maintenance and fire alarm related emergencyevent calls during off hours when on "On-Call" duty and as directed.
- Perform building systems and equipment testing and inspectionas directed.
- Complete updating of building systems and equipmentmonitoring/data logs, checklists, etc. on a weekly basis or as directed. Report problems and/or trouble conditions orconcerns immediately to Director.
- Adhere to Safety Program guidelines in the execution of allwork duties.
- Participate in routine safety inspections.
MaintenanceTechnician II / HVAC Qualifications include: - Minimum of five (5) years electrical experience or HVACexperience.
- HVAC Technician Certification/ EPA Clean Air Section 608 required.
- Ability to read blue prints.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A current, valid driver's license in good standing.
- Willing to work flexible hours including some evenings,weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer serviceskills.
- Basic computer knowledge with the ability to learn andutilize new technology systems
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the Englishlanguage.
