POSITION TITLE – Forklift Operator

Pay: $16.25-$18.25 per hour
Scheduled: 1st and 2nd shifts available

• 1st shift Tues- Fri 7am-5:30pm
• 2nd shift Mon- Thurs- 4:30 pm-3:00 am

Position Summary:

As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential to our daily operations, responsible for efficiently moving, handling, and organizing inventory throughout the warehouse. Your ability to operate various types of forklifts will ensure timely order fulfillment and maintain an organized and safe work environment.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, high reach, and turret forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load, unload, and transfer products to appropriate storage areas based on inventory needs
• Pick and prepare orders according to company procedures
• Conduct equipment inspections before use and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Accurately log movements of inventory, ensuring proper documentation and tracking
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment
• Familiarity with operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, high reach, and turret
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive movements
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines

Skills Required:

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic math skills for tracking inventory
• Effective communication skills for working with team members and supervisors

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs., as well as operating forklifts for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
