Job Description: Federal Project Manager

Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is recruiting for Project Manager to oversee and manage programs for Counter Improvised Explosive Device capabilities. The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:

• Manage day to day operations based on client requirements
• Oversee and manage counter-improved explosive device programs, trainings, and outreach
• Conduct technical studies, analyses, and evaluations that support DHS needs
• Manage a team of about 10 and ensure quality performance
• Assist in developing and communication new and existing processes, procedures, and work products in support of DHS
• Assist in strategy development

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Accredited College or University)
• Experience with Infrastructure Protection/ Infrastructure Security
• Experience working with Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Programs
• Experience leading teams of 10+
• Experience working with administrative teams
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass a background check.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
• Graduate-level Degree (M.A., M.S., or above)
• PMP Certificate

Primary work location: D.C. Metropolitan Area. Remote work option available.

Travel Expectations: Moderate travel may be required to complete the scope of work-related responsibilities.

Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried position.
