For more than 30 years, Camp Twin Lakes (CTL) has provided life-changing camp experiences to thousands of Georgia's children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges. Camp Twin Lakes provides week-long summer camps and year-round weekend retreats at three fully accessible and medically supportive campsites. We are currently seeking a Farm Hand to work at Baldwin Farm at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, GA.

As a Farm Hand at Baldwin Farm at CTL, we expect you will grow in your ability to think creatively, work independently as well as collaboratively with a team, adapt to changes rapidly, develop time management skills, gain hands-on agricultural work experience and much more! Your development as a leader is vital to CTL and to the success of our programs. Along with being a rewarding experience, you will develop crucial skills that will help you become a successful professional within the sustainable agriculture sector.

Farm Hands work in our gardens and pastures, assisting in the production of high-quality vegetables, fruit, and honey. Farm Hands are tasked with keeping the grounds of the farm tidy and inviting. Each Farm Hand has numerous responsibilities ranging from animal care to weeding, all of which directly help with fostering a welcoming environment for our campers while producing healthy food for them to try during their time at CTL. Although not directly interacting with campers, Farm Hands must work to create an atmosphere of learning, acceptance, community, friendship building, and independence for all campers, volunteers and fellow staff. All staff are responsible for helping campers achieve positive outcomes and enabling them to leave with skills that will improve their lives outside of camp.
