Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies for operations.
  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure OSHA and EPA compliance.
  • Lead safety training programs, including new hire orientation, PPE use, and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents, implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain hazardous materials handling procedures and ensure proper SDS documentation.
  • Oversee fire safety, emergency response plans, and workplace ergonomics.
  • Monitor and report safety metrics, driving continuous improvements.

Security Responsibilities:

  • Manage facility security in compliance with NISPOM and DCSA regulations.
  • Oversee personnel security clearances, including e-QIP submissions, training, and clearance tracking.
  • Implement and maintain access control, visitor management, and physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, perimeter security).
  • Conduct security briefings, annual refresher training, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and destruction of classified materials.
  • Prepare for and support DCSA inspections and audits.
  • Develop and update Standard Practice Procedures (SPP) and self-inspection programs.
  • Investigate and report security violations, suspicious activities, and compliance issues.

General Facilities Management:

  • Oversee building maintenance, equipment inspections, and facility upgrades.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility improvements and compliance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Manage facility-related documentation, permits, and regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain SECRET clearance .
  • 2+ years in industrial safety and security management (fabrication or manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • OSHA 30, CSP, or FSO Certification
  • Experience working in a cleared facility supporting DoD contracts.
  • Knowledge of ITAR/export controls is a plus.
