Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Escort third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers on site as needed.
• Perform assigned tasks under supervision, such as making rounds and conducting initial assessments of equipment performance.
• Monitor the maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety) within the data center under supervision.
• Conduct visual or non-intrusive preventative maintenance, including single CRAH preventative maintenance, AHU filter replacement, eyewash and duress button maintenance, humidifier maintenance, and responding to VESDA alerts or supervisory issues (e.g., low air flow).
• Adhere to all safety procedures and comply with physical security procedures and policies while performing work.

Requirements:

• Must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
• Experience with mechanical systems in high availability or critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work or applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, mechanical, controls, data center).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and varying work weeks (3, 4, or 5 days).
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
