We're looking for a skilled Drupal Developer with experience in developing and maintaining Drupal websites and a comprehensive understanding of web development principles and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a true understanding of Drupal architecture, modules, and theming, along with expertise in content management, development, and editing. This role involves supporting the application development operations and maintenance of the intranet website. Responsibilities: Create and edit website content, and develop and construct web elements to enhance the intranet's functionality. Monitor and maintain website content daily. Develop, test, and deploy new interface elements based on specific requests or requirements. Continuously monitor site performance and promptly resolve any issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to the web interface, prioritizing tasks based on the severity of the issues. Build, maintain, and customize the site. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and contribute to developing innovative solutions. Ensure compliance with all agency security standards, web design frameworks, and other relevant requirements. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Ensure website security and optimal performance. Work with stakeholders and team members to clarify requirements and implement detailed designs as needed. Support ongoing maintenance and updates of Drupal sites, troubleshoot issues, and apply security and functionality patches. Qualifications & Expertise: Experience with Drupal theming and module development. 5+ years of hands-on web development experience (Drupal 7/8/9 experience). Experience with the Government of the District of Columbia preferred. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Behavior Characteristics: Strong organizational and planning skills.
