Job Description

Stallant Health is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch dental care and ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient care, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, providing necessary instruments and materials.
  • Take dental X-rays and process them accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow.
  • Provide chairside support and comfort to patients during procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.
  • Dental Assistant certification or relevant dental training is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Friendly demeanor, self-motivated, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both patients and the dental team.
