As a Critical Care Paramedic, you provide essential emergency medical care to critically ill and injured patients during helicopter and ambulance transport, all under the guidance of medical control physicians. The role demands extensive experience and a variety of certifications, with responsibilities including advanced airway management, pharmacologic administration, and monitoring patient status. Provides comprehensive emergency medical care to the critically ill and injured during helicopter and ambulance transport from accident scenes, and referring hospitals, under the direction of medical control physicians. Receives direct supervision from the Operations Managers. May at times receive functional supervision from the VP Director, AVP Clinical Operations, and Medical Director. Must maintain a weight not to exceed 250 pounds in gear. Required to work in confined space with exposure to extreme temperatures, vibration and altitude; and to stand for extended periods of time. Required to physically lift and transfer patients, and lift and move equipment used for patient care and other sensory facility to provide patient care. Communicates directly and uses aircraft headsets, radios and telephones with patients, physicians, and other staff in emergency and daily patient care activities. May be exposed to personal safety hazards in both air and ground transport.

12-hour shifts (10AM-10PM, 10PM-10AM, 11AM–11PM, 11PM-11AM) with three shifts one
week and four shifts the next, rotating between day and night shifts and
including every other weekend. Self-scheduling available.
Location: Report in/out of Fort Meade, MD, Indianhead, MD or St. Mary’s,
MD.
Minimum
Qualifications:
· Graduation
from high school or Equivalent
· NREMT-P certification
required
· Current NREMT and State
Paramedic license for MD and DC (or ability to obtain DC within 30 days after
hire).
· Valid Driver’s License
· BLS Certification
· EVOC certification
· Current
valid BLS and PALS certification
Experience:
