We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven construction manager to join our dynamic team and assist in providing our services to a wider audience.

Position Overview

Cooper & Co. is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Construction Manager to join our team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience working directly with the  Founder / Owner / Principal Architect , providing exposure to both field and administrative aspects of construction project management. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to take ownership of on-site coordination, client interactions, invoicing, and overall project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage  on-site construction activities , ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain strong  client relations and smooth communication.
  • Coordinate and track  project schedules , identifying potential risks and proactively resolving issues.
  • Assist in  procurement and materials management , ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Review and process  invoices , budgets, and financial documentation.
  • Work closely with the  Founder / Principal Landscape Architect to support project planning, execution, and problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with  safety regulations and best construction practices.
  • Contribute to project documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree OR relevant experience in  construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field .
  • Strong  organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work  on-site and adapt to dynamic project needs.
  • Basic understanding of  construction methods, materials, and project management principles .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with  construction management software is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
