We are seeking a talented and dynamic Construction Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. This is a permanent position that offers a challenging, exciting, and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of construction litigation matters. This includes representing clients in court, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice. With your expertise in litigation defense, you will be instrumental in protecting the interests of our clients and achieving favorable outcomes in complex construction disputes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of construction litigation including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlement, and trial.
  • Provide legal advice to clients regarding all aspects of construction law, including contract disputes, property rights, and construction defects.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve successful resolutions for our clients.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support arguments in court.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the best representation for our clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to construction litigation.
Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Litigation Attorney or Defense Attorney.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving construction litigation cases.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, contract law, and civil litigation procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality of client information.
