Job Title: CNC Machinist

Pay Range: $26 – 32.50/hour on W2 (depending on experience/interview)

Shift: Schedule is If they are asked to do OT, usually they stay until 4 or 430pm and sometimes Saturday. Again, usually not mandated and more voluntary
Job Description:
The person needs a couple years of experience running Milling CNC Machines specifically and they are milling larger things up to 30ftin wide x 10 ft tall.
Needs to be able to do the machine set-ups, run the machine, and be comfortable using the CNC software overall (can be trained on the specific machines they use.
They WILL NOT need to do any CNC Programing, Repairs or Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures
The self-motivated candidate performs machine work on CNC Horizontal & Vertical Milling, Drilling, and Boring Machines.
Must be able to set machine up and run proficiently upon completed training.
Be able to edit new and existing programs as needed and actively contribute to quality initiatives to increase productivity and gain efficiencies.
Candidate must be able to read blue prints, micrometer, calipers and other standard measuring equipment. Some experience of formal metalworking helpful.
Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
When called upon to do so the incumbent utilizes acquired cross-functional training skills to assist and reduce the workload demands of other critical departments.

Minimum of two-year related trade school training or equivalent job related experience.
