Position Overview for the Clinical Document Improvement Specialist: Â Â
- Performance Improvement : Support clinical and operational leadership in monitoring and evaluating processes for outcomes management, performance improvement, and peer review. Facilitate improvement activities for specific areas of responsibility.
- Data Management and Analysis : Collect and retrieve data, design and use spreadsheets and databases for clinical and administrative decision-making, and conduct basic analyses of performance on clinical processes and outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance : Organize on-site surveys and develop processes to ensure compliance with complex regulatory requirements. Review measure performance and collaborate with process owners to develop action plans for improvement.
- Reporting and Education : Write concise reports and present them at clinical and administrative meetings. Prepare educational programs on performance improvement and quality initiatives for physicians and clinical staff.
Required Skills for the Clinical Document Improvement Specialist: Â Â
- Education : Bachelor's degree in management, public health, nursing, business administration, organizational leadership, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience : 2 years of recent relevant experience in outcomes management, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills and Knowledge : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to navigate an electronic health record and format tables, retrieve data via queries, and create presentations.
- Communication and Problem-Solving : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of personalities and departments. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and motivate diverse groups on initiatives.

Compensation Details:$65-$70/hr. W2. NOT OPEN TO C2C. Â
