Cleaning Operative - Tottenham London, N17 0PG Service - London Part time Permanent We are looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Duke's Aldridge Academy in Tottenham. As part of our team of key workers you will make sure to keep the school safe, clean, and hygienic to ensure that the children who go there have the perfect environment to thrive in. Every member of the team is responsible for a different section of the school, where we clean a variety of areas, such as classrooms, hallways and toilets.
If youve got cleaning experience that would be perfect, but dont worry, if not we will provide all the training you need.
**The Job:**
* Job type: permanent, part-time
* Hours: 5pm to 7pm, Monday-Friday
* Hourly rate: 10.85 per hour
* Location: Duke's Academy London
* The Site: a secondary school in Tottenham with about 1,000 children
* The Team: 12 Cleaning Operatives
**Day in the Life of a Cleaning Operative**
You probably guessed it but hoover and mop will be the most important part of your equipment. But dont worry weve got your back (pun intended): to make your life easier we are using I mops / scrubber dryers on all of our sites.
* going on site every afternoon meeting your colleagues to decide your tasks for your shift.
* collect your material and PPE from the cleaning cupboard before heading to the area you are responsible for.
* do a high quality clean that you can be proud of and that meets the hygiene specification of the school.
Just remember that every day is different, from cleaning up the remains of a fun science experiment to mopping up the muddy footprints in the hallway on a rainy day.
