About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chair for its Department of Social Work. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and visionary leader, responsible for enhancing the department's professional educational experiences, and promoting faculty-driven scholarly and creative endeavors. This role requires a committed team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, who can foster a collegial and welcoming culture that embraces shared governance. The Chair will also be tasked with overseeing the department's curriculum, faculty development, and student recruitment, as well as maintaining the department's accreditation and managing its budget. Applicants for the Chair position at the company's Department of Social Work must hold a CSWE-approved MSW degree, a doctoral degree in social work or a related field, and be eligible for social work licensure in North Dakota. A minimum of 3 years' in a social work educational administrative leadership role is required, along with a demonstrated commitment to social work ethics and values. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, research, or practice, with a preference for experience with Indigenous populations, online teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role also involves community engagement, and the ability to mentor and support faculty in their professional development.
