Body Shop/Collision Center Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Body Shop/Collision Center Manager to oversee our collision repair operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, cultivate a positive work environment, and lead a team of skilled technicians to deliver top-notch service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the collision center to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all shop activities.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of collision repair specialists and technicians.
• Manage hiring processes to build a strong and skilled team.
• Conduct estimating for repair costs and maintain accurate records of repairs and services provided.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any customer complaints effectively.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends, modern diagnostics, and repair tools to ensure the shop meets current repair standards.
• Manage collision center administration tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional development within the collision center.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Collision Center Manager or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards applicable to body shops.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in training and hiring skilled technicians and staff.
• Solid understanding of estimating repair costs and collision repair standards.
• Excellent customer service and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives in a busy shop environment.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty collision repair processes and techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostics and repair tools commonly used in body shops.
