AR/VR UX/UI Designer

(aka The Immersive Experience Designer) to lead the design of intuitive, beautiful, and functional AR/VR experiences across diverse applications. As an AR/VR UX/UI Designer at

our client , you’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to create interfaces that feel natural and engaging within 3D spaces. Your expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, and AR/VR development will be essential in crafting experiences that are both captivating and easy to navigate. Key Responsibilities: Design Intuitive and Immersive UX/UI for AR/VR Applications: Create user-centered interfaces and experiences tailored to AR/VR environments. You’ll design UI elements and interactions that are easy to understand and naturally guide users through virtual spaces. Develop User Flows and Interaction Models: Map out user journeys, flowcharts, and interaction models to ensure seamless navigation in 3D environments. You’ll focus on enhancing usability and creating intuitive, fluid user interactions. Collaborate on 3D Visual and Spatial Design: Work closely with 3D artists and developers to integrate UI elements into virtual spaces. You’ll ensure interfaces are spatially intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and optimized for VR/AR user comfort. Prototype and Test AR/VR Interfaces: Build wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize interactions and test UI/UX functionality. You’ll conduct usability tests and gather user feedback to refine designs and improve the experience. Incorporate Motion, Animation, and Haptic Feedback: Add motion, animations, and haptic feedback to enhance user interaction and guide navigation. You’ll use subtle visual cues and feedback to create immersive, engaging experiences that feel natural. Ensure Cross-Platform Compatibility and Accessibility: Optimize designs for performance across various AR/VR devices, such as VR headsets, AR glasses, and mobile devices. You’ll ensure interfaces are accessible, legible, and responsive on multiple platforms. Stay Updated on AR/VR Design Trends and Best Practices: Continuously research advancements in AR/VR UX/UI design, interaction patterns, and tools. You’ll bring innovative ideas to the team and incorporate new techniques to keep designs cutting-edge. Required Skills: Expertise in UX/UI Design for AR/VR:

Strong understanding of user experience design principles specific to AR/VR applications, including spatial interfaces and 3D interactions. Proficiency in Design Tools and Prototyping Software:

Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for 2D interfaces, as well as prototyping tools like Unity or Unreal Engine for creating immersive mockups. Knowledge of Interaction Design and Animation:

Familiarity with animation principles, motion graphics, and haptic feedback to create responsive and intuitive interactions. User-Centered Design and Testing:

Ability to conduct user research, usability tests, and apply feedback to enhance usability and comfort in immersive environments. Basic Programming Skills in C# or Blueprint (Unity/Unreal):

Some familiarity with C# or Blueprint scripting to support UI integration and interactivity within 3D engines. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or a related field.

Equivalent experience in AR/VR design may be considered. Specialized courses or certifications in AR/VR design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or 3D user interfaces are advantageous. Experience Requirements: 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design,

with a focus on AR/VR or immersive applications. Proven portfolio of AR/VR UX/UI projects, showcasing immersive, intuitive interfaces that prioritize user experience. Familiarity with design for multiple AR/VR platforms, including VR headsets, mobile AR, or AR glasses, is beneficial.
