Wellan Montessori School is accepting applications from Teaching Artists for after school drum, woodwind, and/or brass lessons during the 2024-2025 school year. Wellan offers individual in-person lessons after school to students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Recitals will be held at the end of each semester.

The successful applicant will have excellent skills on their instrument(s), experience teaching children in Kindergarten through Grade 8, and the ability to foster a love of music in their students.

This is a part time position with a pay rate between $70-$80/hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related music field required, Master's degree preferred
• Ability to teach more than one instrument is preferred.
• Resume, cover letter, and at least two references are required in order to be considered for this position. References should include parents of at least two current or recent students.
